Ah, what could be more wonderful than having breakfast in bed? Maybe I should say breakfast in bed 2013. It’s so worth it to wake up a bit early and spend some time checking my favorite blogger’s posts, seeing what my friends have been up to, sipping some fragrant sweet Earl Gray and having a little breakkie. That’s the best way to start a morning…don’t you think so?

Sounds absolutely perfect to me!!!
Hi Nicole, thank you so much for hopping over.
We all deserve a lovely breakfast in bed, don’t we?
Breakfast in bed, can’t remember when???? Hope you enjoyed yours though and it does look very inviting. And yes, would appreciate you letting me know when the willow branches in Lynn Valley are available for pickin! Have a great day Veronica. Hugs … Carole
When you set it up so beautifully, absolutely! (again, the lighting is so wonderful!) Love my soft-boiled eggs with toast. Only have them on Saturdays when I can savor–read the paper, look out the window and visit bloggers–a perfect way to start the day
PS Sent your pasta photo to my photographer hubby, he loved it!
Wow Sara, does photographer hubby have a website? I’d love to
You know you’re welcome to any photos any time.
stalkhave a look at his work.Ok Carole, will do that.
Hugs back.
Love the little egg holder and the blue light in that first photograph. Then the next has the beautiful flower and those warm colors. You went from cool light to warm light…you are good.
Love the pictures. So pretty!
Thank you Sabra, I love the blue light too. I always try for the available light because I hate, HATE flash. That was the pc light.
Kirra! Thank you for visiting my dear WSS friend. Feel free to use any photo if you like.
The big dude and the little dude are going skiing this weekend, so I have four mornings to indulge myself. Breakfast in bed sounds like a fabulous way to do it!
Yay, breakfast in bed every morning Jeannine. Followed by writing in bed, lunch in bed, more writing in bed…

Hi Edith, thank you so much for returning a comment. I love cats too. I have three. One in England and two in Canada. I also look forward to the return of the swallows each spring. It shows that spring is here, doesn’t it? Oh, also hummingbirds. I miss them when I’m in Europe. Talk soon.
Hi Veronica,
so nice to see your comment on my blog. Thank you for the visit and for commenting. So I discovered your blog. Your photos are amazing but very big. My PC needs lot of time to open all. But in the end I got it. I love the idea of beakfast in bed although I have breadcrumbs in the bed. But with just a tea and an egg everything is fine. So sweet to see the salter with MOP-topping. I bought some of those English or American type via ebay because I loved these pearly and Silver lids. I understood from your comment that you also understand German. How nice! Did you live in Germany sometimes? I have read a few more posts and your cats are so cute. I am a cat lover, too. I hope we will see us on the blogs again.
Best greetings, Johanna
Hi Johanna, thank you so much for stopping by. Those little salt shakers are so handy, aren’t they? Much better than the big clumsy ones. I grew up in Prague for a time and was sent to Germany for holidays. Also my family is of German and Austrian ancestry. My German is pretty rusty right now so I welcome the chance to read your blog.
I’ll pop around again soon because now I’ve followed you.
where are the cats when all this lovely still time is going on? X
Lol, Catherine, OUTSIDE! This is all mine.
