Monday in the fog

Since I moved down the mountain two years ago, I’ve been playing hide and seek with the fog. πŸ™‚
Higher up I used to be above the fog, but here, closer to the ocean it’s 50/50.

At the river, the fog highlights the mystery of the old heritage shipyards.

But somehow, the fog makes the inside so much cozier.

And inside, the colours stay vivid.

For the first time I get a peek into the restored boat building house…soon to function as a museum.

Such a beautiful post! For many years I lived in North Delta and would frequently go down to the Fraser to walk along the river. There were no boardwalks – just broken boards, haphazard buildings.

Thank you for bringing those memories back.

A foggy morning can provide such great photos. Your lead photo is spectacular. And I so enjoyed touring the fishing village through your other images.

I don’t often get down to those parts when I’m on the mainland, but if there is an historic district with open buildings I’ll have to make a point of visiting.

I’ve always been a huge fan of the fog, unless I have to drive in it–Love to walk in it, feel the mist on my face and my hair (eventhough I will look like a poodle after..) πŸ™‚
