Nude, Patrice’s wonderful drawing challenge

I’m all over the place right now, but I couldn’t miss Patrice’s wonderful drawing challenge “nude”, so I prepared this digital art earlier.

digital art 2 nude copy copy

gigital art nude

This is my first try at digital art. Layers of my photography, old postcards, old maps, old letters, a couple of free stock images, and a bit of manipulative work with Photoshop. If anyone wants a through breakdown of the system, I’m happy to tell you all. πŸ˜€

Don’t forget to come by Patrice’s site and check out the other fabulous artists.

I love collage and yours are lovely. I hope you do post your process. Can’t remember if I said, but I enjoyed your trip to Prague and found myself wishing you could live there, because your love for your home came through clear with longing. Blessings, Veronica.

I enjoyed these digital collages very much, Veronica. Great work, especially in light of being your first foray into that fascinating arena! I love the pops of orange in the top image.

I hope you’ll be doing much more in this digital art style Veronica! If this is a hint of what you might come up with! Wowser. These could be journal covers, book bag stencils and the list goes on. So much fun here. Well I hope you are having a beautiful time travelling. They want me to use only one l as in traveling, but I refuse. I am a rebel today. Looking forward to seeing more of your art as time passes here in the challenge group. *smiles* Norma, x

Yesss, photoshop is such a great tool for playing around and collaging pictures! From time to time I do that, too, combining drawing and photos or just doing photo-collages and apart from the fact, that it costs a looooot of time, I love to try out those many functions…your digital art pieces are beautiful, just don’t stop playing with that medium!!

Wow Veronica, I didn’t expect to find collages as I came here and I’m totally enthusiastic, they are totally awesome and it doesn’t look at all that you did it for the first time digitally! I Love them!
