Oh, I bet you’d do the same thing!

So if you found yourself on the 17th floor overlooking your city and you just happened to have a camera about your person…

…you so would! πŸ™‚
By the way, I live on the side of Grouse Mountain just behind that tall building with what looks like a spinning top on top of it. (Actually, that spinning top is a lovely revolving restaurant.)

We have a revolving restaurant in Atlanta, too. Beautiful setting with the mountains and the boats. Have a lovely weekend. I’m going to see Frida and Diego in the city this weekend. Any thoughts about their art?

The Space Needle in Seattle is a revolving restaurant – it was 50 years old last year and they painted the top gold to celebrate. I love the photos – so clear and bright. I was amused by how tiny the boats appeared, next to those big buildings.

Wow, what a beautiful city! I love the water and the boats. I live in a teeny weenie town compared to yours!
    Have a great weekend!

We closed the office early today and I went to the exhibit Frida and Diego. I will be processing for a while, I think. I feel blessed to see these paintings in person. It is so wonderful to have both artists’ work together. I think the curators did a fine job…a rich, rich experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about their work. There were also a lot of photographs of them and even one of the body casts she wore and painted.

Actually it was the real body cast instead of a photograph of it. You should check out the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto because they were a co-organizer of this exhibit. Express that you would like to have the exhibit visit there. Diego was a terrific portrait artist…I had not know that until yesterday.
