One potato, two potato, three potato, butter, parsley and salt

September 12, 2012

Over two months away from my Vancouver garden and it shows!
Happily the potaoes seem to have done very well.
I dug up just three plants and look:

There is a yellow fleshed variety, a pink blush type and a lovely jem ruby one.
Boiled the smallest ones and served them with butter, salt and some fresh parsley. Yum.

That’s all you need. πŸ™‚

So...to market with jet-lag is such NOT a good idea
Today I had to say goodbye to England for a few months

I love the variety. our garden potatoes are good (and plentiful) but they are a bit boring.

Julie, usually I have boring old store bought potatoes because my city garden is so small. So these little gems are such a treat! Lucky you to have so much room in your garden. πŸ™‚

It is all you need. I’d probably add organic black pepper (only because I’m a pepper lover), but butter and salt are required. I do love your lifestyle!
