Rising above our marshmallow world

When the winter fog sets in, I’m so grateful for our mountains.

Today C and I went in search of warmth and of the promised sun.

This evening I decided to remember today with a little painting. A small jewel hidden inside an old tobacco tin.

Hello Veronica, thank you for visiting my blog. Your tiny drawing in the tobacco can is a really neat way to remember the day! I love antiques and finding a new use for them! Great idea.

I really love your close up photos of the plants, especially the lichen on the tree.

My grandma was a Roth, maybe we are related!?

you have mountains nearby? talkin’ ’bout using inspirations…!
i believe the fog is right in there, in that tiny boxed painting.
as you mused upon dark colours and sparkle… i’m looking forward to that. sounds like roaring witer.
