Bandits at five-o-clock!
Yesterday we had a visit.
Someone came knocking on the kitchen door.
The female neighbourhood raccoon came by with her four almost fully grown kits.
They came to look in on Morgan.
“Look Morgan, one is touching your bowl.”
“Look Morgan, one is standing on your basket.”
“Where are you Morgan, can you come play?”
And sent them on their way with a couple good hisses.

I’ve never seen more than one at a time. They are actually cute.

I think we’re pretty lucky with this little family. I’ve watched them scurrying thru the gardens all year. I think it’s unusual to have four kits survive and grow up, don’t you? Bet if you look into the dictionary under “cute” you’ll find a racoon face there. 🙂

Great photos! I love the close-up of the first one. She looks like she’s ready to come right in the house!

Joy, I think it’s true. They were all looking at me with such expectant litle faces. 🙂

Oh my goodness, they’re adorable! And how cute to have a little family of them stop by to say hi 🙂 We don’t get them here in Australia but they’ve always seemed cute to me.
Sorry it’s taken me so long to stop by and visit your blog. Have been in the middle of 1st birthday party preparations but now that the party is over, I have more time up my sleeve for blog reading. Am looking forward to reading more of your posts and getting to know you more xx

Amanda, I’m glad you had a lovely party. Those flowers you made were brilliant. Heading over to your blog for an update. 🙂

OMG… Quite a crowd of them too. 😆

I know Elizabeth, can you believe it? I’m bad, I left them some grapes and an apple on the side of the house by the compost bin yesterday.

Oh, I love these photos! So cute! I’ve never seen racoons in a group – usually just one or two. So funny how you show the pictures it as a story you’re telling your cat!
