Veronica
Thank you sweetie, it was a bit breathtaking there. 🙂

Good morning Veronica. I found your blog by accident as you have the same name as a popular author. I love your eye and pictures. Pardon my lack of knowing, is this the Vancouver area?
Veronica
Hello Kent, thank you very much. Yes, at the moment I’m in Vancouver and this is a West Vancouver beach. 🙂
Carol Cook
Your beach is gorgeous and your view so many different textures.
We have not made it out for our beach walk yet this morning. Maybe I should take the camera and take snaps of the rocks on the jetty. I might catch a starfish or two.
Veronica
Thank you Carol. I thought so too. I loved all the textures. Yes please, I’d love to see photos from around you and of starfish. 🙂
Karen
Hi Veronica,
Your pictures of the beach are phenomenal! Wow! I love the one with the light shining on the water and it looks just like a snowflake star! So beautiful! We do live in a very pretty place! Have a wonderful week too! Karen
Veronica
Hi Karen, we do, don’t we. Thank you so much. I had such a lovely time and photographed so much. It was really hard going home, and then deciding on which photos to upload! 😀
Poppy
Hi Veronica,
Vancouver is gloriously sunny in your beautiful photos, the sun shining on the water, making it sparkle so! Do you remember that Mr. Clean commercial, which ends with similar starry sparkles, coming from Mr. Clean’s super white teeth, supposedly from the immaculate effects of the product? Anyway, you’ve managed to capture such a variety of textures from the driftwood, the boulders and even the little crab!! Brilliant!
Poppy
Veronica
Oh thank you so much Poppy. I remember those commercials. Horrible toxic stuff, and I’m always aware that whatever I pour down the drain ends up right here, in my ocean. 🙂
Karen, Pixel Posts
Oh, I could sure go for a nice beach walk! Lovely captures of a truly beautiful place.
Veronica
Hi Karen, I must admit that I love Oxfordshire but when I’m there I miss the ocean so much. Walks on the beach are the best. 🙂
Bungalow Hostess
Looks gorgeous! Your photos are exquisite.
Veronica
Thank you so much my new BC friend. 🙂

Awesome scenery. You look like you are on the west coast. Stunning isn’t it?
Veronica
That’s right, west coast. It is just so lovely. 🙂
Pondside
That’s the sort of beach day I love – the sparkle, the blue sky – all so beautiful!
You asked – I’m just outside of Victoria, not far from a beach that looks a lot like yours.
Veronica
Me too. Oh good, you’re pretty close then. 🙂 Victoria is so lovely, and the spring is somehow so much sooner than the mainland. 🙂
ladyfi
So very glorious – yes!
Veronica
Absolutely is. 🙂
Renee
Veronica, what beautiful twists, and turns and textures! What a glorious day you must have had by the ocean! Treasure hunting is something I love to do! So fortunate to have a clear blue sky and open water! On the weekend, we received more snow and the temperature was in the negative twenties, here on the Alberta prairies! Thanks for warming my week!
Veronica
I was thinking that too Renee. I was wondering how on earth I could even begin reproducing all those textures with paint if I wanted to. Did you get more snow…negative 20’s…bah humbug! Hope it warms up for you soon. We’re a bit arctic freeze here this week.
Deb from Homespun & Frugal Little Bungalow
It is so beautiful there! 🙂
Veronica
It really is Deb. So much to take in, so beautiful. 🙂
EG CameraGirl
The sky is truly a beautiful blue! Absolutely glorious!
Veronica
Isn’t it amazing EG? If we didn’t take the photos it might not even be believed. 🙂

Glorious indeed! Is that Lava?
Ida P. Krause
Wow these were so beautiful. Lucky, Lucky you!
Veronica
Thank you so much Ida; it’s impossible to take a bad photo on a day like this. 😀
