We did the same down at Cates Park (Marine Service by Burrard Yacht Club). I always think of my grandfather in the trenches of WW1 – such madness and sadly the world seems bent on repeating the mistakes of the past. On a positive note – the crowds seem to grow with each passing year – good to see so many young families observing this solemn day. We must teach our children well ….lest we forget.
