Solitary, a WordPress weekly photo challenge
So fitting for the “solitary” theme. The summer weather has broken and the forecasted morning fog has turned into a gray, cloud cover sort of day here on the West Coast.
I thought about draining all the colour out of these photos but there didn’t seem much of a point.
Seems to me that today’s atmosphere did a fine enough job.
Thought about and composed for the WordPress weekly photo challenge, solitary.
Stacey
I really enjoyed this post. This looks a lot like Ireland. Grey waters, clouds, rock. Lovely.

Hi Stacey. Thank you very much; it does, doesn’t it. When I leave OXON for a few months in Vancouver, and when I leave Vancouver for a few months in Ox, there are so many similarities that I hardly miss the other country. Ireland is beautiful, isn’t it? Do you live there? I’m going to check out your site and find out! 🙂

I love how the processing gives the photos a more solitary and lonely feel. It is melancholy. Great job.

Thank you Angelia, now to go check out your site 🙂

Thank you Ailsa, I’ll try to get over my black mood as soon as I can and look into your challenge. 🙂
