I started the 10 Mile Project several years ago after realising that I find the most incredible beauty within a ten mile radius around West Cottage, my Oxfordshire home. I’ve posted a limited number of photographs here but I’ll keep adding. Who knows, maybe a publisher will come across this page and offer me a book deal. Hey, if you’re reading this, and you’re a publisher, give me a shout! But who ever you are, I’ve posted these images for you. I hope you enjoy them.

You know, journals are always looking for photos…
Amazing what wealth one usually has available at close reach! And so beautiful photos – master’s work
Thank you Mariya, I’ll keep going with this series. Love it.
I so love your photography. Viewing it magically relaxes me.
Wow! Your photos are amazing!! Would you mind if I did this on my blog too? I would, of course, link back to this post.
Thanks Jen, I’ve had practice…lol. Go ahead and start your own 10 mile and have fun exploring.
Nicely done – beautiful light captured in many of these, and a sense of place.
Thank you bluebrightly. What’s your name? I’d love to know.
Had a peek at your site…love the textures post. I’ll have a better look in the next day or so.
Wow! Amazing photos. You’ve got quite an eye for beauty.
Thank you, Thank you. Taking a bow now.
I admire your images that show reality and reflection in the depth of field.
Thank you Kim; can’t stop taking those images.
I love them one and all – what a fabulous idea. I had one blogger tell me that my header showed that I had traveled over the world and she wondered where I had been. The funny thing was that every photo was taken right at my home,or within 15 miles. We live in a wonderful area for photographs – and I truly believe that most people also do, if they take the time to look around. We’ve lived in the mountains, at the ocean, in farm country and in the desert – and each was complete with its own beauty.
It’s true JoAnn. I’ve been photographing the ten miles around our cottage in England for years and still have so much documenting to do.
What a fabulous place to live! The photo of the spider web is stunning, never saw anything like it! Great job Veronica!
Hi Jessica.
It’s absolutely beautiful in my ten miles at OXON. Thank you for your kind words and thank you for leaving your addy because now I can visit you and see your funky vases…absolutely charming!
