A silver morning in the meadow
Ran out yesterday morning before tea! I know, unheard of…but then look at what I found. The meadow, fields, pines and hedgerows have been touched by Jack Frost. Everything has taken on a lovely, spiky malevolence.
I love it.

Heavy frost…beautiful. I didn’t realize (until now) a frost had spikes.

What beautiful pictures! Snow always amazes me as we don’t see much of it in Australia 🙂 I’ve only ever seen it once in my life and even then I’m sure it was mostly man made!

Thank you Sophie. A couple of years ago I landed in England on the 15th of December and by the 17th the entire country was at a complete stand still because of the snow. No trash pick up, no mail, no flights…nothing. That was a lovely quiet Christmas. 🙂
