The Friday photo challenges

February 28, 2014

Photo Friday for explore and The WordPress weekly photo challenge for abandoned.

I love exploring the country around my cabin and my friend’s cabin and finding abandoned things. No idea what this was but probably some farm or forestry machinery.

Thank you so much Janet. It’s almost a bit shocking to find something like that out in nature, isn’t it? But somehow lovely, like a jewel. 🙂

What a wonderful composition….you have an eye for the art in things surrounding you. Wonderful.

Thank you so much Anni. A great friend of my mothers, a brilliant photographer, once told me that and I still hold that in my heart as the greatest compliment. (In a humble way of course…:D )

The orange is gorgeous and the contrast of the silver barbed wire is stunning! I love finding old treasures. The aging is so alluring!
