Today I walked with my neighbours.
We came from every direction, young and old, and we remembered.

Lest we forget.

We did the same down at Cates Park (Marine Service by Burrard Yacht Club). I always think of my grandfather in the trenches of WW1 – such madness and sadly the world seems bent on repeating the mistakes of the past. On a positive note – the crowds seem to grow with each passing year – good to see so many young families observing this solemn day. We must teach our children well ….lest we forget.
