Veronica Roth September 26, 2014 Night time, the WordPress photo challenge My two night times, the city and the country. For the WordPress weekly photo challenge. Camera / home / Oxford / This is how we do it / Vancouver
I love cities at night with wet streets, it creates such great reflections.
i am so bad i almost never am out at night, i get home and i get into comfy pjs and veg out … those are fabulous and you’re inspiring me to get out!!!!!
Lol, I’m the same way. The only way I got that city photo is because my kids dragged me out. We should get out more, shouldn’t we? 😀
That colours Veronica, those little circles at night give the night photo something special. It makes the photo alive, beautiful.
Aw, thank you so much Joke, so very sweet of you. 😀
I did the same contrast, Veronica, so of course I love these. Seriously, I love them for themselves and the rain really adds to your first photo.
Did you Janet? Brilliant, heading over. 😀
Both of you pictures are so beautiful. I wished my camera could take such good pictures.
Aw, thank you so much Betty. 😀 I usually use Canons, although my iPhone gets a fair amount of use too.
Nothing more beautiful than a city on a rainy day and afterwards, with the streets all slick and wet…then again, I may just be a fan of gloom and doom.
Or just a vampire. That works too.
Works for me…lol…often wonder about myself too. 😀
What city is that? It’s beautiful!
Thank you, the city is Vancouver BC Canada, the country is Oxfordshire, England. 😀
Beautiful city, and beautiful photograph!

I really like your “city” shot. The wet cobblestones reflecting the lights are beautiful.
I love shooting when the streets are wet.
The reflections gives yet another layer in the image!
