tea

Take my hand and come with us. Come high up on the mountain, away from the winter ocean fog, above the clouds, into the sun. Come hike the sky line Baden Powell trail for a while. Fall in love with the dogs and mourn as their owners tug them away. Explore the winter weeds and the new spring greening. Don’t worry, I’ve packed some hot tea and some nourishing soup.

Listen to the birds.

X marks the spot.

Nice! BTW, I had a relative (long since dead now) who had been named Baden Powell by his parents in honour of Sir BP. Never met anyone else with that name though, lol!

You’re kidding! Actually, that’s kind of cool. πŸ˜€ What was BP’s first name again…Robert (just looked it up). πŸ˜€

Honestly, I couldn’t believe it when I saw that perfect X. πŸ˜€ We don’t often get high contrails because the international airport is a few miles away and this Pacific coast line is the end of the road…so to speak…so when I do see them, I’m so excited. πŸ˜€

Holy smokes! There are some angry, evil people in this world. That bunch of arson attacks is much further south then we are, but it’s so awful, isn’t it?
